3/8 inch Long Lag Screw Expansion Anchors are used for medium strength use in concrete, tile, brink, cinder block, mortar, and stone. Also commonly known as Lag Screw Shields, they are made of a zinc alloy called Zamak 5 which is a rustproof material. The Long lag anchors are used in lower grade base materials and material in which more holding strength is needed. The lag screw length should be determined by taking the length of the anchor and adding a 1/2 inch.
Diameter: 3/8 inch
As a common rule of thumb, if using more than one anchor in a specific area, they should be no closer than ten anchor diameters apart from each other and five diameters away from an unanchored edge.
