Heat Shrink Tubing

Heat shrink tube / tubing provides an easy way to reinforce, insulate and protect your electrical wiring connections, splices and terminals. The heat shrink tubing is placed around a connection and heated causing it to shrink and form a tight seal. This provides added holding strength and depending on the type of heat shrink can also provide protection against weather and natural elements. Heat shrink tubing is credited with saving millions of dollars in repairs, outages, equipment failures and down time. We recommend using an inexpensive heat gun to aid you in the heating process but other methods include: torches, ovens, hair dryers, lighters and even matches for the thinner tubing.
